Impressions of Jordan 2023
Jordan is a fascinating country, steeped in history, and with a warm and friendly population. You can find ruins from the Bible, Romans, Crusaders, Saladin and of course the Nabateans, who built Petra. You are even able to wander in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia in the sprawling wilds of Wadi Rum. We have arranged this trip to take in the very best of this photogenic country, but in a shorter format than our usual tours to make it more affordable. To see more click here.
Impressions of Northeast India 2023
The remote Northeast of India is outstandingly unique even in this amazingly unique country! Our adventurous exploratory trip starts in the fascinating city of Kolkata, before taking in the tribes of Nagaland, the monasteries of Sikkim as well as the hill station for Darjeeling. Encompassing an entrancing range of subjects, you will be able to photograph Tibetan Buddhist sites, seek out the seemingly pre-historic Indian Rhinos in the Kazaringa National Parkand cross the breath-taking living bridges, woven out of the limbs of ancient trees. Impressions of Mongolia 2024
Our adventure in this vast and little-known land has been timed so that we can visit, and photograph the ancient Naadam Festival – a centuries old celebration of the skills Genghis Khan considered vital for the Mongol warrior: wrestling, archery and horse-racing. As well as the actual festival, we tour some of the training camps allowing us to get closer to the participants. We also roam the great steppes and listen to vast singing dunes in the Gobi Desert, visiting ruined monasteries, flaming cliffs and ancient cities, whilst staying in traditional Mongolian Gers.
